A wiley motorcyclist took the term "barging in" to terrifying new heights, accidentally slamming his bike through the door of a surprisingly nonchalant Dublin homeowner.

“Oh sweet Jesus, oh my God, can you help me, this is going to fall?” asked the woman, now face to face with the equally shocked cyclist, moments after the crash shot her front door down into her hallway.

“The bike is going to fall again,” he replied, a sentiment that clearly unphased the resident.

“Well I think the bike is after doing enough damage, to be honest with you,” she fired back.

After helping the cyclist regain his composure, even as his engine appeared to fire again, the woman posed the question of the hour.

“What the ---- did you do?” she asked the driver, audibly exasperated.

“I was coming down that road too fast and my back break didn’t work,” he said, accidentally tapping his horn.

“Christ, you could have killed someone!” she said. “You came through the gates and me door and all.”

Moral of the story? Always check your brakes … and if you’re gonna enter someone’s home, try knocking first before breaking down their door.
