I spent a good deal of EBW time and energy fighting the faceless problem here in our dark, juvenile, back alley corner of the internet. This was based mostly on the tradition that you really didn't belong here until you made the minimal effort to 'get a face'. While there is merit to this line of thinking, I am going to put it aside for now. 

There are a few reasons but it is mainly because this site is never going to be what is was. Unfunny, boring content gets featured all the time. The talented writers no longer log in let alone blog.  The comments section used to buzz with back and forth from the regulars. 

I will no longer lead the charge for the faceless. Knocking down the faceless used to be a group effort by users that contributed and actually cared about content. This boomer will leave the fight (if anyone even wants it) to the younger, jaded and bitter users with more time to waste.  

Apathy has set in. I've even found myself giving a thumbs up to a few faceless comments here and there. *shudder*
