I just got back from seeing saw 3D and wow

There are spoilers in here...I dont understand how you thought there wouldn't be spoilers when im explaining the film.



First off the movie as a whole was horrible, it adds nothing new to the film and makes you think at times "WTF am I watching, is this really saw?"

The death scenes weren't anything new while the director and all the fans where trying to make the fact that it had more death scenes then any other saw film make it sound like its going to be better then it actually was and they also went on to say that since its the last saw film (thank god they cant butcher this franchise any more) that they would have the most gruesome deaths.

Sure yes it had more death scenes but many of them were less then a minute long, one was even a dream for god sakes (the one where the chick gets hit by the car) Other death scenes were not even needed and really took you out of the film. Forget about then saying its more gruesome, hell saw 2's needle pit has to be the sickest "trap" by far and even traps like the key in eye, hands in blade to collect blood and having walls crush you were more sick and twisted then anything this film had to offer.

Remember when saw use to kill people for a reason? Well that's been scrapped in this film. No joke, "jigsaw" (one of his helpers) kills someone for BEING A RACIST. What is with that? So this guy and his 3 friends are racists, they deserve to die...guess hes going to have to kill everyone in texas.
As well jigsaw (again not actually him but a helper) kills a girl because she cheated on her boyfriend and used both boys that liked her to buy her commercial things...Jigsaw clearly has never been to highschool since every chick there does that.

This film also brings some "comedy" into it. Like the very first scene in the movie for instance, there are 3 people in a glass box (im pretty sure it was normal glass since the only person who tried to actually break it was a 90 pound asian chick, the cops didnt bother shooting the glass and all the guys were just filming the death with their iphones) but after the tape is done explaining the rules and the guys start to try to kill each other, they agree that the chick should die and they should live. The girl then asks "What the fuck are you doing" and the guy looks up to her and said "Well i guess we are breaking up with you." ...WTF people started to burst out laughing in the theater, there are some other jokes in the film too, another one being when the cop is talking to jigsaws wife and he finds out she tried to kill jigsaws helper the cop finishes every sentence with calling her "crazy" he does at least 6 times in 2 minutes, again everyone was laughing.

The whole main plot in the film was actually horrible, It was the most disappointing part. The main plot is about this guy who "survived" a saw trap, but then it turns out he wasn't actually in a trap at all he just lied to do it for money (decent plot, so far) but when he actually gets put into a trap, he becomes so incompetent its just unbearable to watch.

His trap was he had to go through a building and try to save his co-workers that new about his lie, but he fails miserably at that. First trap he goes to this girl has a string down her throat that goes into her stomach, the string has a small hook and a key attached to it, he has 60 seconds to pull the hook out of her and put the key in the machine to turn it off, but the catch is besides waiting 60 seconds before the machine puts 4 spikes into her neck, every time she makes a sound the spikes will go closer to her neck. Whats the guy do? Well anyone with a brain would understand that you must simply pull the string, lower it a little, then pull it some more because the hook wouldnt hook onto anything in her, but what does this guy do? Oh he pulls as hard as he can, trying to rip it out of her, shes starts to scream of course. He manages to pull the key out of her (with what looks like large junks of her esophagus but then fiddles with the key for to long and the spikes go into her neck and she dies. He then tells a joke about how she talks to much and then everyone watching laughs.

The next trap he goes to is another girl, this time in 60 seconds a spike will go into each of her eyes and then a third spike will go into her mouth. All this pussy had to do was hold a bar up for 30 seconds and she would be let free, but the catch is when he holds up the bar 2 spikes go into the side of him...He of course fails again because he's a pussy (as stated earlier) and he only had to hold the bar up for 3 MORE SECONDS and she would have lived. The spikes aren't even moving, they just stick into him when the bar is up all the way.

The third trap he had to go to was this guy, he was blind folded and had to walk across a bunch of planks, meeting the main character half way and the main character had to throw a key about 2 meters to the blind guy. He takes so long on this trap that when he finally gets the key, there is 10 seconds left (started with 60 seconds) When he is about to throw the key though he doesn't do what any intelligent man would do and say "tuck your shirt into your shorts, and open up your shirt wide so i can throw it down your shirt and you can grab it easily without it falling. Nope, he just tells the guy to cup his hands close to his chest then he whips the key...of course the key is whipped to hard so it hits the guy in the chest and falls down the hole, did he ever play catch with his dad?!??! This trap caused the blind guy to be hung.

The last and final trap he had to go through (yes its the  main new plot of this film and theres only 4 traps he has to go through) was he had to put hooks through his chest muscles and hold himself up by them (because he said he had to do that the first time he was in a saw trap) when he lifts himself up by the muscles he must connect 1 yes ONE cord with another cord. When he is just about to connect them his muscles rip and he falls, the girl then burns to death in a furnace.

There were more negatives then that of course but I'll move on to some positives of the film.

The sub plot that has to do with every saw film, finding the killer, trying to catch him, seeing how he did things, ect. was awesome, it was amazing and really made the whole series more plausible, it turned out doctor Gordon from the saw one (who cut off his leg) was helping saw with everything, he was the doctor of the crew making sure everyone could survive if they passed the game, and is the one who sewed peoples eyes shut, or closed up scares where keys where put. It was a very good plot and at the end doctor Gordon locks the bad cop (who was helping jigsaw) into the room where he had to cut his foot off in. It was an awesome ending to the series.

Another great thing was the 3D, almost every death scene used it, and you could really tell. 3D blood coming at you, body parts flying into your face, ect. ect. It was very well done and looked superb, I have to say im glad i saw it in 3D.

In conclusion I would have to say I would give this movie a 5/10 for people who wanted to see it for just the plot, and a 7.5/10 for people who wanted to see just a bunch of people die and laugh at them.
