Thank you to the states that opened up their businesses and dropped the mask mandates. Right or wrong, these mavericks are blazing the trail. It is entirely possible that the cases will rise because the masks and social distancing were the keys to controlling this thus saving lives. If the cases go up for these states, it seems fairly simple to point at the charts and tell eveyone to mask up again.

But what if that isn't what happens? What if the states that open up continue to trend downward but other mask wearing/restricted states keep going up? How many people that believe in 'the science' will be able to digest that without their heads exploding? How many maskers would admit they were wrong if we find out that masks really weren't a factor? Who will tell Uncle Joe to stop preaching about mask wearing?

This is the beauty of our system of states. Allowing each to chose it's own path and then comparing the results.
