What a time it was to be alive... Back when people didn't have a single solitary care about child safety. Perhaps it was just because the need for certain protections wasn't realized yet, or maybe it was just an entire generation that was brand-new to this whole parenting gig.
These days we're all about keeping our precious little bundles of joy safe and happy until they're in their mid-20s/early-30s, at which point the shock sets in like a ton of bricks. But there was a time when babies were considered basically interchangeable with doorstoppers, and the products and (lack of) safety standards made it a wild time to be alive. -
