50s Flashback

Life in the '50s with poodle skirts, soda shops, and doo wop seems so simple and cute now. There was a lot of family time and playing outside. Here's a peek into life in the OLD days.

Even back in the old days, they knew the importance of being able to grab a beer and sandwich while watching the tellie

A look at what some of our products looked like (look at JIF in a glass jar!)

Who knew Listerine made toothpaste!? Wonder why they stopped.

Hair goo, pink and sticky.

Movies actually had an intermission so you could go get more concessions (because they were affordable)

Juke boxes played and booths were packed at soda shops after school

My mother still has her barbie with the black hair in perfect condition.

Every now and then you still see one of these heaters in a bathroom, so warm and wonderful (and dangerous, apparently)

The old bunnies actually wore ears

I wish we would have gotten to experience drive ins!

These chewy little candies that you still find around Halloween sometimes

And oreo packaging has changed a bit. I miss the boxes that were around even in the '80s
