Kathryn Beaumont was only 12 years old when she got the part of Alice in Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. Much like the voice actors in video games today, Beaumont was asked to also perform reference scenes on a sound stage for the animators. Eventually her likeness was incorporated into the character design as well.
