This pizza shop employee is hypoglycemic, but their boss says they're not allowed to take breaks because they work less than six-hour shifts. They can't go that long without eating or the get lightheaded and could pass out.
They went to r/antiwork to get some perspective on what they can do to convince their boss that they needed a short break to have a quick snack. Most people said they should take their case the ADA or even sue the boss, but less extreme advice was just to keep a Clif Bar in their pocket and eat it while they work.
