Spectators off the coast of South Carolina caught an unexpected display of aerial combat in the skies on Saturday, February 4th, 2023. After days of freely traveling over the continental United States, the order was given to shoot down the Chinese balloon over the coast of South Carolina. President Joe Biden made the decision to shoot down the "Chinese Spy Balloon" after it made its way to the coast and there was no longer a threat of debris falling down on the mainland.
