A Florida police officer
was caught on bodycam putting his hand on a junior officer's throat after that officer attempted to curb his use of unnecessary force.
Both officers were among the respondents to an arrest where the suspect was already cuffed and placed in the back of a squad car. When the junior officer spotted Sgt. Christopher Pullease reaching to pepper spray an already apprehended suspect, she did the right thing and stepped in to intervene. Pullease responded violently by trying to choke her out.
Looks to be a pretty clear-cut case, one that would cause you to be fired
from literally any other job, but the offending officer has been "relieved of supervisory duties" pending an internal investigation.
