Phillip Blanks, a retired U.S. Marine and former football player at Kalamazoo Central High School doesn’t wants no special recognition for helping save the 3-year-old boy from the apartment fire in Phoenix. Blanks currently works as a body guard, he said protecting others is just part of his job.
