An Illinois Officer encountered a terrifying life or death situation during a routine traffic stop. The officer encountered a man in a vehicle on a dark dirt road and after questioning him for a couple of minutes he pulled out a pistol and pointed it directly at the officer's head. It's a good damn thing backup was on the scene.
