Murder Hornets Are Bad, But Bees "Cooking" Them to Death Are Good

If you're worried about the murder hornets coming for you this summer, just lure them into your oven and set it on high.

As the clip from this documentary explains, Japanese bees have developed a method for fighting back against the deadly murder hornets. Their attack consists of engulfing the hornet in a ball of bees and vibrating to raise their body temperature.

These bees can raise their body temperature to 117°F, which is just enough to kill the murder hornet. They do this because the hornet's exoskeleton is too tough for them to penetrate with their stingers.

Only problem is, bees in the U.S. apparently DON'T know how to do this. For their sake, hopefully they can learn.
