Surf Docks can reach lengths in excess of 100', and are usually anchored in the middle of a surf break. Floating in the water, the dock allows surfers to mount incoming breakers without having to paddle. As one surfer said: “You’re standing up on the Dock, you can see three waves coming, and you instantly know which one’s best.”
