In 2016 Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of domestic abuse and later claimed the actor sexually assaulted her, to which Depp has denied and sued Heard for $50 million in a defamation lawsuit. Well, it turns out those stories of sexual assault came from someone else. Kate James told the London High Court at Depp's libel case that Heard, who was her boss at the time, questioned her about her brutal rape that took place in Brazil.

James said to the court, "Ms. Heard referred to a conversation we had about me being violently raped at machete point in Brazil and she used it as her own story."

James said that even though a subpoena was issued for evidence, she felt it was the right thing to do because " she was a sexual violence survivor and it’s very serious to take that stance if you are not one."

When she read the case about Heard's alleged sexual abuse, James said, "to my utter shock and dismay, I discovered that Ms. Heard had in fact stolen my sexual violence conversation with her and twisted it into her own story to benefit herself. This of course caused me extreme distress and outrage that she would dare to attempt to use the most harrowing experience of my life as her own narrative."

According to James, Heard would drink large quantities of alcohol and text her assistant "abusive and incoherent messages between 2 am and 4 am every night."

Depp's house manager, Ben King, told the court that it was Heard who was the drinker and she would drink a bottle or two of wine every night. "I believe she would regularly drink at least one or two bottles a night. I made a tally of the bottles of wine left on the counter or in the bins when I arrived each morning. I was usually the first one there. I would often see Ms. Heard drinking wine," King said.

After being questioned about Depp's drinking habits, he also mentioned that he has never seen the Pirates of the Caribbean actor drink, but would see him smoking cannabis once in a while. "He seemed to smoke cannabis sometimes around the house. Always polite," King mentioned.

Well, they apparently make some pretty good wine from those jail cells, maybe Heard can request a nice Cabernet with her three meals.
