25 Awesome Things That Disappeared without a Trace

We usually don't miss things until they're gone. But you might expect to notice when something really amazing vanishes.

However, countless awesome things faded away without us noticing. Thanks to Reddit, we've collected a few of the ones we wish would make a comeback.

1. The Wonka labeling on Nerds, SweetTarts, etc. -u/PsychedelicLizard

3. The live aquarium fish at Walmart. -u/cheerleadersquid
4. Colored toilet paper, tissue and paper towels. In the seventies, toilet paper came in different colors to match the decor of the day. Green, yellow, pink, and so on. Paper towels and tissues too, usually in yellow and green.

They were discontinued when it was found they were a contributing factor to UTIs in girls along with Mr. Bubble bubble bath soap. Also if you had a septic system the dyes interfered with the biological process in the tank. -u/Ill_Maintenance8161

Just before the internet got popular there were computers that were on 24/7 and available to be dialed into with your modem so that a user could play games, download files, and exchange emails with others around the world. It was a lot of fun and we spent many long hours on them. -u/mojoisthebest

19. Nerds cereal. It was around for, like, three years in the '80s and tasted delicious. Then it disappeared. I still remember what it tasted like. -u/ethnicbonsai
20. Grooveshark. Opened it one day years ago to find my 7-years of cultivated music playlists gone.
21. Sierra Mist with Cranberry. Was my absolute favorite but I can never find it anymore. Not sure if it's discontinued or just hard to find in my state. -u/brainyolive
