Well, there's something you don't see every day.
A resident of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, received a very special delivery recently, as her DoorDash
order from Arby's was delivered by SFPD Officer Sam Buhr after he arrested the delivery driver just a little further down the road from her. 24-year-old Anastasia Elsinger has a feeling her delivery was going to be delayed after she saw that the driver had randomly stopped just a few blocks from her home.
The driver was arrested for an unspecified crime, but when Officer Buhr looked in the back and saw the bags and drink from Arby's, he realized he'd busted the guy mid-delivery. Deciding to really put the "serve" in "Protect & Serve," Buhr grabbed the order and walked up to Elsinger's residence, where he laughingly acknowledge that he probably was not the guy she was expecting. The wholesome incident quickly went viral, and it's definitely the kind of cop story we'd love to see more often.
