There's "hangry" and then there's whatever this girl was. Hopefully, she got some food shortly after.
We've all been there - working
a long day and you forget to eat because you're so busy juggling like 20 different things at once, scrambling around from one spot to the next trying to hustle and get s--t done. Unfortunately, that catches up to you after a while and once you're tired and hungry to that degree, any little thing can set you off as it did for this young lady. From what we understand, she DID end up getting some Wingstop after all, and even scored some Wingstop swag when the video went viral.
Scientists believe that the reason we become "hangry" is that it takes our brains a certain level of processing power to continue to put on social niceties (things like NOT screaming like a banshee over some wings) and when we become especially taxed with hunger and exhaustion, those filters are the first thing to be expended. It definitely makes sense, because I've seen a long and hungry day turn even some of the nicest people I ever knew into absolute monsters!
