What reads like a spammy health ad, is actually a tried and true method on getting to sleep faster. The method is known as the Military Sleep Method
and was developed to help soldiers in the field get a better night's rest.
The method has recently gone viral on TikTok thanks to Justin Augustin
, a fitness coach, who made a video explaining the method.
In short, you need to lie on your back and relax your entire body from head to toe. Start by unclenching your jaw, lowering your shoulders, and then work your way down your body to your toes, relaxing all your body parts. Then clear your mind and take deep breaths while thinking warm and comfortable thoughts.
