fans may have already dug up this footage from George Lucas' vault and seen it years ago, but for the rest of us, this is the first time we've seen any of this behind the scenes footage.
Seeing the early blue/green screen technology and all the clever ways they used physical props (instead of 3D animating everything in post-production) is always neat. It reminds us that movies
don't have to take place in a sound stage on one huge green screen.
